The 4th annual FSU Women in Leadership Conference is an event for young women to learn the inside story of what it takes to get involved in modern corporate strategy and the hurdles facing the ascent into leadership roles. Come listen and learn from women who have succeeded in business, academic life, and educational roles of business leadership. This event is designed to allow an inside look at what can be expected in today’s business world after graduation. These role models are giving their time for you to learn their secrets, avoid their mistakes, and get an idea of how great it can be to succeed in your chosen field.

The event is broken down in three stages:

 

4:00 – 5:30: Opening Panel Discussion

The first session will be a panelist formal where the panelists give the fundamentals of their success and how they navigated their journey to leadership roles in their chosen profession.

 

5:45 – 6:45: Breakout Panels (Four)

The second set of sessions will enable you to hear from various leaders about specific areas:

  • Women in Entrepreneurship
  • Women in Education/STEM
  • Women in Government
  • Women in Community Service/Philanthropy

 

6:45 – 7:45: Workshop Events (Four)

The final set of sessions will enable you to take away specific solutions you can implement.

  • Personal Branding/Effective Networking
  • Diversity in Leadership
