Family Reunification Specialist

Family Reunification Specialist: This is a professional exempt position, responsible for providing clinical services to children and families involved in the foster care system. This professional position will help children transition back into their home by providing in-home counseling and help link families to services in the community. The Family Reunification Specialist must have a bachelor’s degree in a human services related field with a minimum of 4 years post-bachelor’s experience in human services, or a master’s degree in a human services related field with one year experience in human services. A specialized certification, such as a CAP, may substitute for one year of the required experience. The Family Reunification Specialist must have a bachelor’s degree in a human services related field with a minimum of 4 years post-bachelor’s experience in human services, or a master’s degree in a human services related field with one year experience in human services. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in the area of psychology, social work, or other related human service field, plus a minimum of one year experience working with children who have family, educational or emotional disturbance, including experience working with family issues is preferred.
