Job Description: The Florida United Methodist Children’s Home (FUMCH) is a private, faith based, non-profit agency that provides a continuum of care to children, youth, and families throughout Florida for over 100 years. Our main campus sits on a picturesque 100 acres located in Enterprise, Florida and is with 35 minutes of metropolitan Orlando and Daytona Beach. We also opened a new campus, The Madison Youth Ranch, situated on 400 acres in a scenic, rural setting in Pinetta, Florida and is located within 25 minutes from Valdosta, GA and an hour from Tallahassee.

We are currently recruiting married couples to fill Houseparent/Residential Child Care Specialists (RCCS) positions for both locations. The primary role of the Houseparent/RSSC is to oversee the day-to-day care and supervision of the children assigned to their cottage. The Houseparents are responsible for monitoring all aspects of daily cottage life and is, in essence, the primary caring person for the child/youth during his/her stay at FUMCH. Houseparents work 7 days on shift and 7 days off, and live in a comfortable cottage with the children in a family setting.
