Research Interests
- Teaching: Gerontology, social policy and aging, quantitative analysis methods.
- Research: Civic and productive engagement in later life. Interactions among demographic change, social policy formation, and social service provision, with particular interest in the effects of population aging. Using information technology to enhance social work research, practice, and instruction.
- Service: Committed to strengthening community-based organizations and institutions that pursue work in the areas of social justice, community development, and individual welfare, with particular interest in initiatives focusing on older adults.
