Why Invest in the CFC?

The Center for the Study and Promotion and Promotion of Communities, Families, and Children was established to generate and sustain knowledge and funding assets needed for the development of effective policies, services, and applied research.

The CFC Center is able to capitalize on the FSU College of Social Work's current efforts while continuing to expand into new areas of research, grants, engagement, and collaboration.

To achieve these goals, the CFC Center develops innovative solutions and outcomes through a cross-disciplinary, multidisciplinary approach.   See below for some examples of our important work.

Through Your Support

The CFC Center will sustain innovative research that successfully translates into applied policy, community-based programs, and opportunities for FSU faculty and students to impact policy and practice.

Your gifts allow the CFC Center to enhance diversity and to expand its partnerships allowing the FSU College of Social Work to develop and fund future projects dedicated to enhancing the student experience and career opportunities.

Your investment would also ensure the center is equipped with a talented staff, that includes engaged and invested students and faculty, a key component for bringing about grant opportunities and managing the logistics of interdisciplinary teams and sustaining ongoing initiatives.
