As an acute care hospital with 1500 beds, we service any and all patients from birth to death.  Our population covers all walks of life, from premature babies, to toddlers, to end of life, to failure to thrive patients, to drug addicted patients, to hospice to giving birth.  Our social workers complete a full biopsychosocial assessment that includes all questions from who to you live with to who your primary care MD is to how many steps in your home and who prepares your meals.  The social workers will then provide a full range of services and resources to ensure a safe discharge plan.

Special Information

Accepting BSW and MSW 1st Year students.  Full-time and Part-time positions available.  Students are expected to arrive at the hospital using their own transportation.  We are accessible by bus and Sunrail (except on weekends).  We do not provide a stipend at this time.  Students have the ability to work weekend and evening hours with assistant director's approval.
