Broward Partnership Is the largest homeless service provider in Broward County. We operate two emergency shelters in the Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach area. We are a low barrier shelter and accept all individuals that can manages their own AOL's. We accept families and singles that are transient and in need of shelter. Both shelters have a case management and behavioral health department. The role of the social worker would be to assist the behavioral health department with biopsychosocial, assessments and counseling services. Additional experience in support services within the case management would be available to interns.
Special Placement Information:
The Agency is accepting BSW Full-time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical Students, Part-time BSW and Part-time MSW. The Internship would be onsite at one of the two locations. Interns will have the opportunity to use both locations for a single internship if additional hours are need. Students must have their own liability insurance that can be purchased through any provider at a student rate. Video and audio recordings are not permitted. The Internship hours are 7 days weekly, 7:00am-7:30pm. Clinical staff will only be available for onsite supervision Monday- Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. The agency accessible by bus and has available parking at both locations.
