Women & Families Intervention Services (WFIS)is a program of CDAC Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. The WFIS program's mission is to provide intervention, substance use case management, and advocacy for pregnant women and other parents who have substance use issues. WFIS includes three Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) components: 1. Family Intervention Services (FIS which provides the tools for parents _to develop substance-free lifestyles and strong_ family relationships. 2. Women's Intervention Services & Education (WISE) which assists pregnant and parenting women to ensure healthy moms, babies, and children.3. Substance Exposed Newborn/Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (SEN-NAS) program which supports families experiencing or at risk for, SEN-NAS.

Special Placement Information:

The Agency is accepting MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year, and Advanced Standing Clinical Students. Student will need to provide their own transportation, and the agency will reimburse for travel. Travel throughout the community is required, ie. home visits, court, etc. Video/audio recording is not permitted. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 am-5 pm, with the ability to be flexible within those hours.
