Daymark Recovery Services is a non-profit community mental health and substance use treatment facility that provides inpatient and outpatient treatment services throughout the state of North Carolina. The agency services individuals starting at the age of 4 and uses a variety of evidenced based treatments (i.e., CBT, DBT, Relapse Prevention, Motivational Interviewing) to provide the best level of care to those we serve. Licensed Clinical
Social Workers provide various evidenced based treatments at our facilities across the state and are a part of our management team. We have BSW and MSW level staff who are providing targeted care management services to eligible clients to address social determinants of health needs and improve our clients' health outcomes. The agency utilizes a holistic approach to ensure client's needs those with a social work background play a major role in ensuring that the agency's mission to help empower individuals to not only address health concerns but maintain their recovery.

Special Placement Information:

The Agency is accepting BSW Full-time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical Students, (Clinical), Part-time BSW, Part-time MSW.  Stipends are not available for internships with Daymark. We provide company cars for travel for trainings, but the student would be accompanied by an employee in this event. Students typically have liability insurance through their University program. Typical agency hours are 8:00am-5:00pm. We do see some clients via telehealth from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Audio recordings are allowed as long as the client gives written consent.
