Information

The Department of Juvenile Justices' primary function is to supervise youth that are placed on juvenile probation by the Juvenile Court. We ensure sanctions ordered by the court are completed by the youth and parent/guardian. The Department refers youths to counseling services that have been identified as a need: i.e. mental health, substance abuse, Individual and or family counseling. We monitor the youth through curfew and visiting the youth in the community at home or at school.

Special Placement Information:

The Agency is accepting BSW Full-time, and MSW 1st year students.   This student intern already works for the Department of Juvenile Justice. It's my understanding that the Intern would be monitored by their immediate supervisor and that information would be forwarded, in some way, to the MSW who will monitor the intern's progress.
