Social worker-owned counseling center in Lakewood Ranch Florida serving children and adults with a variety of mental health concerns. We provide weekly therapy for Selah Freedom, an organization that serves sex trafficking survivors at their assessment and residential houses. MSW intern will provide weekly therapy for new survivors at the assessment house and continue to provide weekly therapy to those who transition to the residential house. MSW student intern will be involved in team meetings and receive field supervision from Dr. Quintal and task supervision by Selah Freedom clinical director and assessment and residential house coordinators.

Special Placement Information:

The Agency accepts Part-time MSW.  MSW student intern will be working at Selah Freedom in the assessment and residential homes. Students will be receiving a stipend and reimbursement for travel.  Audio recording is permitted as long as the survivor also gives permission. This internship continuing after this semester is contingent on the interagency agreement between Dr. Quintal & Associates and Selah Freedom.  Selah Freedom is a non-profit serving sex trafficking survivors through their Advocacy/Awareness, Education, Outreach, and Residential programs.
