Family Promise of Montgomery Count transitions homeless families with children under the age of 18 years into long term stability. With compassionate case management, life skills training, workforce development and trauma counseling. We are creating building stable futures to create generational change out of poverty.  We are a 501© 3 nonprofit organization serving our local community since 2001. Our vision is to alleviate homelessness in Montgomery County and surrounding areas by reducing the rate of homeless recidivism and ending the cycle of generational homelessness. We care about our community and want to be the hands up our families need with a network of partners who assist with meals, transportation and compassionate support.  Families stay in our Guest Center for 90 days while they transition into stability with the help of 1000+ volunteers and community partners. Together we are changing lives, building foundation.

Special Placement Information:

This is an unpaid internship opportunity. We have workman's compensation insurance. Audio or video taping has to have an authorized agreement signed.  Conroe Transit local bus service is available.  Our Guest Center is open Monday- Friday 9:00 am -7:00 pm. Our families live here and leave for work and school during the day.
