The mission of Florida Therapy upon its inception was to meet the growing need for mental health services for senior citizens and the disabled population residing in assisted living facilities.  Florida Therapy provides outpatient, mental health treatment to adults and children, more specifically FTS provides psychiatric consultation, medication management, individual and family therapy, group therapy, psychosocial rehabilitative services, case management, a partial hospitalization program, and therapeutic on-site services for children and adolescents.

Special Information

BSW an MSW(Clinical).  Full time and Part time placements available.FTS is open Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.  Weekend hours vary by location and clinician.  Students will need their own transportation.  Students should have their own liability insurance.  A stipend is not available.  Video and audio taping with special permissions and accommodations if necessary.  Travel is not reimbursed.
