Provides outpatient therapy services, intensive foster care services, early intervention services, and community-based services for youth and families.
This internship specifically is for an in-home therapy program, a family preservation program that works with an identified youth, ages 0-21, who has documented family systems issues that could be improved with intensive family therapy.
Clinicians work in pairs to implement Family Centered Treatment, an evidenced-based, trauma-informed model recognized by the NCTSN. Clinicians carry a caseload and are responsible for assessment and treatment planning, intervention, monitoring of progress, and planning for discharge.
Special placement information:
Accepting MSW 1st-year and MSW 2nd-year (SL + clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Vehicle required, as it is a community based placement. Travel reimbursement available.
Stipend available at minimum wage.
Weekend and evening hours available.
Liability insurance not required.
Video-/Audio-taping permitted with consent of the family.
