Bayfront Medical Center is a 500 plus bed level II trauma center that has served over 2 million people in the Tampa Bay Area for the past 93 years.  There are currently over 600 physicians and 2,000 employees working here, with over 15,000 admissions coming through the center.  Student role includes case management, crisis intervention, documentation and other tasks of a medical social worker.

Special Information:
BSW and MSW internship students will need there own transportation, there is no accessible bus route.   Malpractice liability insurance is required.  Any video or audio taping is at the discretion of the agency representative serving as the preceptor.  Hours are daytime M-F.  Immunizations are required at this agency.
