The Psychological Performance Program Clinic (P3 Clinic) provides embedded behavior health care for active duty service members in 7th Special Forces Group.
Total patient population is approximately 2500 Soldiers between the ages of 18 and 40 (majority). P3 also provides outreach and psychoeducational services to our population.
Social Work intern will have the opportunity to learn about case management, clinical interventions, individual and group therapies, community engagement activities, note writing, behavioral health triage, needs based assessments and education, Social Work ethics and client confidentiality, and record keeping.
Special placement information:
Agency accepts MSW 1st-year and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (SL + clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available. Part-time positions approved solely on a case-by-case basis.
Agency hours: Monday-Friday, 0800-1500. Students will have opportunity to earn hours working on presentations and literature reviews outside of normal business hours.
Approval by Clinic OIC (Officer in Charge) and Commander required.
