Angel House is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3)-organization providing clinical grief counseling to children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced any type of loss related to life transition, trauma, death, etc. We serve clients from age 4 and up.  We provide individual sessions, grief support groups, and educational seminars to groups, professionals, and organizations. We offer a continuum of care to include 6-week support groups followed by a monthly support group and aftercare. We currently have three therapists who are all LCSWs. Individual and group sessions are provided by LCSWs.  Our volunteer board of directors and others. Angel Wing volunteers are very active and assist with fundraising, seminars, and training events as well as administrative tasks in the office.

Special placement information


Accepting MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available. 
Our therapists do not see clients every day. Part-time MSW students would be better due to supervision availability.
We provide all clinical services in the office with the exception of seminars and presentations in the community. Travel will not be necessary for the student.
Video-/audio-taping permitted with Board approval and client consent.
Agency hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM. Support groups offered in the evening. Evening and weekend hours available. We offer after hour appointments for clients as needed.
