Caring for Kids is a non-profit adoption, foster care and birth parent services agency licensed in the state of Ohio. We provide pre-service training and have a team of assessors to complete home studies for families. These families are able to join in on our various programs including foster care, foster to adopt with public searching, and the birth parent program. The youth served in foster care range from 0-21 years of age. We provided
behavioral health services to clients 0-21 as well, including Therapeutic Behavioral Services, Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment and Counseling services. Our birth parent program works with women and families of all ages in creating an adoption plan and supporting them throughout and after this process. Additionally, Caring for Kids has a team of Wendy’s recruiters, which work to identify permanency for the hardest to place youth. These clients are often teens, or part of large sibling sets. Caring for Kids is in the process of expanding our post permanence supports, including all previously listed behavioral health services, respites, crisis management, parent coaching, and more.
