The Cavern City Child Advocacy Center provides services for victims and their families
that have experienced child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, intimate
partner violence, and witnessed a crime. There is no set age requirement for services
at the Cavern City Child Advocacy Center. Victims are provide fact finding interviews,
sexual assault and domestic violence nursing exams, and advocacy services. In 
addition, clients and their families are quickly assessed for onsite trauma counseling
that is offered to the client free of charge. 

Special placement information:

Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year, MSW 2nd-year/advanced standing (clinical) students. Part- and full-time positions available.
Once a student has arrived at the location of the agency, any additional traveling 
will be completed in the agency car. Liability insurance is needed while the student
works with clients in the clinical program. Video and audio taping is permitted with 
the permission of the client. The agency has office hours Monday through Friday
from 8am to 5pm, but there is an oncall staff around the clock to provide services
for victims during nonbusiness hours.
