CJSW was founded to assist first responders in their response to community members struggling with mental health, substance use disorders, housing insecurities, and other social challenges. Our goal is to reduce 9-1-1 calls and assist with the behavioral health related calls that take first responders away from physical health and crime related emergencies. Our team is made up of fully licensed clinical social workers and specially trained social work interns. We prioritize training and education to ensure all social workers are prepared to be effective in the field alongside first responders.

Students are required to have independent and reliable transportation. Travel for agency activities is reimbursable. Students will need to provide proof of car insurance.
