Children’s Home Society is a private, not for profit child welfare agency. The Intercoastal Division serves Broward County, providing a wide variety of services including: adoption, foster care, pregnancy counseling, parent support services, emergency shelter care, homemaker services, crisis intervention, and services to the developmentally disabled. Programs are separated into two main areas, Family Building and Family Preservation. The agency serves a wide cross section of gender, ethnic, racial, and cultural groups.
Special Information:
Clinical MSW students. Students must provide own transportation. Valid Florida Driver’s License required. Travel not reimbursed. No stipend. Finger printing and drug screening required. Agency hours are 8:30am to 9pm, Monday through Friday.
