ECC is a not-for-profit, inter-faith group counseling practice, that opened in 2015. We have 23 licensed/licensed-eligible therapists, a psychiatrist, and a psychiatric nurse practitioner. We meet with clients ages 3 and older for family, couple, and individual counseling. We seek Master’s Level students who have completed/nearly completed their coursework and are on track to be licensed in the State of Florida. We prefer to work with students for a full year from the start date. Students learn all aspects of a counseling practice including front desk and use of an EHR.
Special Placement Information:
The Agency accepts MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical Students. Students are interviewed in November for Spring placement and March/April for Summer or fall placement. Students need liability insurance. Audio/Video taping is allowed with appropriate consent. Our hours are Monday- Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm. Public transportation is accessible.
