Agency has 2 departments: Therapeutic foster care levels 1&2 and Outpatient services(Tampa Bay area and new office in Lakeland)  Provides through outpatient services, individual therapy, family therapy, parenting program (all in-home  or office depending on need)  Population served is ages 0-18 years in foster care services and outpatient services.  The role of the MSW is to provide therapy.  Staff LCSWs complete initial diagnosing/assessments and would provide opportunities for shadowing.  Psychiatry is additionally on site and MSWs would have opportunity for exposure.

Special Information

MSW 1st year and 2nd year/Advanced Standing; Clinical; Full time and Part time available; Will consider MSW student after graduation for future employment in both offices.  Students would need liability insurance.  Transportation is recommended as most work is done in the field.  Video and audio taping permitted with signed releases/consents.  Agency hours are flexible and some therapists do work weekends.  Agency is accessible by bus in the Tampa office.  Lakeland office requirements are the same.
