Henderson Behavioral Health was established in 1953. We are the oldest and largest provider of behavioral health services in South Florida.
We provide behavioral health care, housing, and primary health care to over 30,000 people of all ages each year. Our services include housing, job readiness, psychiatric treatment, individual and family therapy, case management and outreach, crisis stabilization, etc.
Our Youth and Family department provides a full range of family centered services to youth 0-21.
HBH is fully accredited at the highest level through CARF – Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

Special placement information:
Accepting MSW 1st-year and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available. Also accepting BSW students. Part-time positions only.
Transportation required. Travel is reimbursement available.
Liability Insurance not required.
Video-/Audio-taping not permitted.
Agency hours: flexible. Evening and weekend hours available. Services are generally home-based.
