Key Assets is a part of an international fostering and family services organization that is located in 12 countries.  Key Assets Florida has developed specialized therapeutic foster care homes to serve 2 identified groups of traumatized youths: those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and those that have been commercially sexually trafficked.  We serve the youth from ages 4 to 18 and their foster carers and biological families.  Master level Social Work provides the therapy services an crisis intervention to stabilize families and youth in their care.  Bachelors level social work provides case management and guidance for the foster carer and direct care with youth in a mentoring/supportive role.  This includes, but is not limited to assisting with the development of like skills for any of the youth towards adulthood, advocating and brokering informal supports and connections for the youth and carers.

Special Information

BSW, MSW 1st Year, and 2nd Yr/Advanced Standing(Clinical and Social Leadership)  Full time and part time positions available.  The student will need reliable transportation.  Travel is reimbursed if the student transports or travels to work related business.  At this time, there is no stipend available.  It is always strongly recommended for the student to carry their own liability insurance, however Key Assets does have a policy that covers staff and interns.  The agency's office hours are from 9am to 5pm.   Yet, since we are a foster care organization, there are hours on the evening and weekends as well
