Our mission is to provide specialized home-based foster care to a diverse population of at risk children and their families.  By enhancing the emotional and social well-being of children in the least restrictive, most appropriate, normalized, community environment through intensive case management while promoting safety, health and permanency.  Our clients range in age from 2 to 18 years of age.  Kinship provides specialized therapeutic foster care services and comprehensive behavioral health assessment services.

Special Information:

Full-Time positions for MSW 2nd year & Advanced Standing Students; Clinical.  Students will need their own transportation.  Travel is only reimbursed for employees of the agency.  Students will not need liability insurance.  Videotaping is not permitted by the agency due to confidentiality purposes.  However, audio taping is permitted.  Agency hours are between 8:30A to 5:30P. Evening and weekend hours are not permitted.  The agency is accessible by bus.  This agency works with children who experience emotional disturbances and interns should be aware children may act out and become defiant during sessions on occasion.
