KIPP Jacksonville is part of a non-profit network of college-preparatory public charter schools educating elementary, middle, and high school students. KIPP places racial equity at the core of its mission fostering an inclusive, anti-racist organization. The role of the School Social Worker is to identify and support students and their families in eliminating barriers that impact learning. The goal is to improve student social, emotional, behavioral and academic outcomes.
Special Placement Information:
The Agency accepts MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing, Part-time MSW. -Transportation is needed
-Reimbursement is not provided for travel
-Video or audio taping is permitted dependent upon assignment
-Hours are 7:30am-3:30pm
-Weekends and evening hours are not available
-KIPP is accessible by bus-JTA (Transit Authority has hub located at VOICE campus
-Liability insurance is required
