Arosa is an organization that provides care management and home care services in eight states. 
Our clientele consists primarily of the aging populations, but also includes some individual Mental Health issues &/or developmental disabilities. 
Our care managers act in an integrated model, where in they provide care to clients in a dual-role of overseeing their home care services and providing and providing comprehensive care management.

Intern job description:
Arosa is a for-profit company providing Integrated Care Management and home care services.
Clients are primarily in the aging population group and pay privately for services. 
Interns with Arosa will have the opportunity to practice community-based Care Management, through which they will advance heir skills in assessment, care planning, community outreach, resource referral, and advocacy. Through collaboration with both the local and national Care Management team, interns are afforded exposure to micro, mezzo, and macro Social Work.
Interns will be matched with a field supervisor. The intern will have the opportunity to shadow the field supervisor/care manager and will learn directly from observation/practice. Through direction from the field supervisor, the intern will also have the opportunity to conduct some tasks independently. The intern and the field supervisor will talk frequently regarding work delegation, education, and feedback on work completed. In addition, the intern will attend twice-weekly, company-wide care management trainings.

Special placement information:
Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year, and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (social leadership) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Reliable transportation required. Travel reimbursement available.
Stipend available.
Liability insurance not required.
Video-/Audio-taping permitted with authorization.
Agency hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday. Evening and weekend hours available.
