The Mental Health Clinic as Los Angeles Air Force Base serves members of all 6 branches of the military and their families. We provide mental health services, alcohol and drug treatment and domestic violence/child abuse prevention and treatment. Ages range from 4 to 65. Social Worker in this clinic are assigned to one of the above programs, providing clinical treatment and case management as needed.
Special Information Placement:

MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced students, (Clinical), Part-time MSW.  Student will need own transportation to get to/from the office. Travel to/from work
will not be reimbursed and there is no travel needed as part of daily duties. There is no stipend available. Student will need to show proof of liability insurance.
Audio/video recording is not permitted. The agency hours at 7am-4pm. No weekend or evening hours are available. Agency is accessible by public transport. Student will require access to government databases and general security clearance, so student is recommended to begin on-boarding within 3 months of start date.
