North Country Family Health Center provides integrated healthcare services to infants, children, and adults at two locations in Watertown. Our primary care providers are supported by a team of Behavioral Health/Substance Use, Care Coordination, and Chronic Disease specialists to support patients in achieving wellness. Behavioral health staff offer behavioral health services at NCFHC’s main campus in Watertown and at its Health and Wellness Center on the campus of Jefferson Community College. Additionally, therapists are on hand at the School-Based Health Centers to help students and their families through a variety of situations.    
North Country Family Health Center is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center, one of 1,400 in the country. Community Health Centers offer “one-stop shopping” – primary and preventive healthcare visits, dental, and mental health services; case management; insurance enrollment; and WIC services… all conveniently located, coordinated, and tailored to meet patient’s needs. NoCo serves nearly 15,000 individuals each year within our Medical, Behavioral Health, and Dental Programs in our 4 community-based and 12 school-based locations. Our WIC Program serves more than 4,000 women, infants, and children and we assist nearly 1,500 people each year with affordable health insurance coverage.    

Special Placement Information:

Agency is accepting MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Students, (Clinical).  Students are required to provide their own transportation to and from their internship location. Students will need their own liability insurance. Video or audio taping is not permitted. North Country Family Health Center generally provides services 8:00am-6:00pm Monday-Friday.
