Northern Westchester Hospital is a 120 bed community hospital se4rvng patients from birth up. It is a diverse community in terms of economic, ethic , and social determinants of health. Social workers perform bio psychosocial assessments, assist with community resource planning, long term planning and discharge planning.
Special Placement Information
BSW full- time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced, (clinical) Part-time BSW, part-time MSW. The student will be required to be COVID tested at employee health weekly, until further notice. The student must wear a surgical mask at all times. The student must wear a facial mask with eye coverings when in direct contact with a patient. Temperature must be taken several times per day.
