Okaloosa Outpatient provides two intensive Outpatient Programs for adults civilian and active duty military/veterans. The Chemical Dependency program is offered for military and civilians providing a 5 day a week program including 3 groups daily and weekly individual therapy. The PSTD, Anxiety and Depression program provides intensive outpatient treatment to active duty and veterans stepping down from residential treatment or an alternative to residential treatment. It includes 3 groups daily and weekly. Individual therapy at the office location. Treatment teams are held in the office and a staff Psychiatrist and Licensed Clinical Social workers are present and available all day and provide the treatment for both programs.
Special Information
Full-Time positions available for MSW 1st year and MSW 2nd year;clinical students. Part-time positions also available for MSW Students. Okaloosa Outpatient is located in Fort Walton Beach, FL and is a branch of Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital. Hours are from 8:00Ato 4:30P, Monday thru Friday and all services are located on site with the exception of orientation (which is held at the main hospital). Internship Stipend is not available and student will need their own transportation to and from the Outpatient office daily.
