Russell County DHR is a state-funded county-level child welfare and social service agency providing a variety of services to children and families including child protective services, investigations, and foster care and adoptions.

Russell County Department of Human Resources is accepting BSW, MSW 1st year and MSW 2nd year advanced standing students on a full –time and part-time basis. 
Student interns may be required to use personal vehicles to transport clients from time to time. Mileage will be reimbursed at the current state rate. Students must obtain liability insurance. Video or audio taping is not permitted. Evening hours may be available for students participating in a variety of group work with children or caregivers.
