*Covid Vaccines are required by October 15, 2021.*MSW 2nd Year placement (may consider BSW applications).  Shands at Vista provides inpatient psychiatric treatment to children, adolescents, and adults.  Acute stabilization and treatment are provided.  A multi-disciplinary team provides intensive services to patients and their families who are in crisis.  Length of stays are approximately one week.  Opportunities to provide client services, individual, group, and family therapy occur daily.  Case management is on-going from admissions through discharge.

Students will provide services on site within the hospital.  Liability insurance required, but not provided.  Work hours are between 8 - 5 p.m.  Some evening and weekend hours are available but not mandatory.
