Agency provides healthcare to inmates within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
In regards to Mental Health treatment, agency provides assessments, mental illness screenings, crisis intervention, inpatient and outpatient treatment, and individual and group counseling.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, agency is currently not conducting group therapy sessions.
Services are provided to female offenders from age 18+.

Special placement information:
Accepting MSW 1st-year and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (clinical students). Full- and part-time positions available.
Transportation to facility required. Facility not accessible by public transit. Travel reimbursement not available.
Stipend not available.
Intern will work on site at a prison facility in the Gatesville area.
Agency hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday-Friday. Evening and weekend hours not available.
Background check required.
