Youth and Family Behavioral Health Center, Inc. provides individual/family therapy for children, adults, and couples. We provide case management, referrals, and run support and counseling groups such as emotional regulation groups (anger management, anxiety and depression, psychoeducational group, self-help group, batterer intervention group, and more. We provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and help families navigate the system and help them connect with needed community services. Youth & Family Behavioral Health Center, Inc. offers several comprehensive behavioral health services in different languages with a treatment focus on culturally sensitive and diverse populations from infants to adults. Services include, but are not limited to, Individual/family therapy or counseling services, therapeutic and support groups, outpatient psychiatric services, and targeted case management.
Intern Job Description
The tasks and responsibilities of an intern are assisting with providing quality services to our clients, assisting with case notes, case management, developing intervention plans, making referrals, applying critical thinking skills, and assessing a client's plan.
Special Placement Information:
The Agency accepts MSW 1st year and MSW 2nd year, and Advanced Standing Clinical Students. Students will need transportation, and travel is not reimbursed by the agency. The office hours are Monday - Friday, 9 am-5 pm, and Saturday, 9 am-2 pm
