YFA operates programs in child welfare as well as emergency and at-risk shelter services for teens.

Special Placement Information

BSW full time, MSW 1st year students, part-time BSW, part-time MSW, Intern would be working in a shelter setting which is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week to serve the needs of the children who reside there.  The intern should not be transporting or driving as part of their experience.  Shelters are equipped with surveillance videotaping to ensure the safety of children and staff.  Outside video and audio should not be taken.
