Jessica Greil-Burkhart is an Associate Teaching Professor in the College of Social Work at Florida State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and Georgia and a qualified supervisor in both states. She teaches clinical courses for MSW students online and on FSU’s main campus and serves as a field advisor for undergraduate and graduate internships.

A three-time graduate of FSU, Greil-Burkhart is an award-winning teaching professor and current doctoral student in FSU’s Instructional Systems and Learning Design program. She has consulted with institutes and agencies on best practices in teaching, adult learning, and clinical practice, and has served as a therapist on multiple clinical trials.

Her clinical focus includes CBT and other evidence-based approaches for mood, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, OCD, and psychosis, including CPT, PE, TF-CBT, CT-R, EMDR, ACT, DBT, MI, and IPT. Her research interests include adult learning in helping professions education, bridging the gap between classroom and field, integrating technology to support authentic practice experiences, reducing burnout and compassion fatigue through education and training systems, and expanding robust mental health and suicide prevention training for communities.
