The SafetyNet Program is operated by The Children's Place at HomeSafe, INC. SafetyNet provides individual.
and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management services, and court advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and their children. We serve any victim Clients cannot be perpetrators of violence. Our support groups are held weekly and in Spanish. We also provide groups to children (6-10) and teens (ages 11-17). We also provide individual therapy sessions. Victims can remain in the program until treatment goals are completed. Most clients remain in the program, however, for 6-8 months or longer if there are protracted court issues. When groups are held in person childcare, and meals are provided to the children/teens. Uber transportation is also provided, as needed.
Important Information:
The Agency is accepting Accepting BSW students, MSW 1st-year and 2nd-year (clinical) students. Part-time and full-time BSW and MSW positions are available.
Students are required to have liability insurance usually provided by the college/university.
Spanish-speaking students are preferred due to the large Hispanic case load.
