The mission of Betty Griffin Center is to work to end domestic violence and sexual abuse.  Our focus is to offer protections and quality services to victims and their children through the operation of a safe and secure shelter and outreach programs, offering assistance, counseling, and transitional support while educating the community and raising awareness.  Betty Griffin Center serves survivors of St. Johns County who have experienced domestic violence and/or sexual abuse.  That includes adults and children.

Special placement information:
Accepting BSW, MSW 1st year, 2nd Year/Advanced Standing (Clinical). Full time and part-time positions available.  
Agency hours: Shelter services are 24/7.  Most students will intern during the day Monday through Friday with some flexibility to join our group or activities in the evening or weekend.  
Travel reimbursement is only available for specific training or tasks if assigned by the agency and will need approval by the supervisor.  
Video/Audio-taping permitted with a release of information form signed by a supervisor who is willing to participate.
