Child Guidance Center provides mental health services for children birth to 18 years old and their families.  The social worker acts as a mental health therapist in individual, family, and small group modalities.  A variety of cultural and ethnic groups are served.

Special Information: 

Clinical MSW placement, full and part-time placement. First year MSW students will be accepted, if interested, in the school-based program for Severely Emotionally Disturbed children case management or child welfare. No stipends are available at this time. The student will be covered by the agency’s liability insurance.  Travel is reimbursed if required for the placement position.  The agency has various sites, most of which are accessible by public bus.  Most sites maintain hours between 8:30am and 6:00pm. There are few hours available on weekends presently.
