Information

Hubbard House is the certified domestic violence center serving Duval and Baker counties. Hubbard House provides free, confidential support, including a 24/7 Hotline, Textline, and emergency Shelter. Other services include counseling, housing support, job coaching, and much more. Hubbard House
serves any survivor of domestic violence who lives in Duval or Baker County, in addition to their dependents. Services are accessible to survivors, including male or non-binary survivors. Our counseling, case management, and crisis hotline best practices all draw on the best practices of social work.

Special Information: 

The Agency accepts MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical Students, and Part-time MSW.  Student placement is primarily based out of the Hubbard House Shelter (confidential location) and Outreach Center (6629 Beach Blvd). Student must provide their transportation and will not receive reimbursement or stipend. The student should have insurance as necessary to cover their social work practice. Recording and photography are not permitted in any capacity. Shelter location operates 24/7/365 and students will be able to staff evening and/or weekend hours. Students will adhere to confidentiality rules. All shifts will be in person, with no remote work available.
