INTERN JOB DESCRIPTION - Sanctuary has a variety of clinical tasks and responsibilities available to a social work intern depending on their area of study, learning objectives, and skill level. Interns are led to thoroughly understand the required skills and responsibilities, and they are guided/trained to strengthen required competencies. This includes accessing needs, therapeutic groups, intake assessments, individual therapy, progress notes, treatment planning, biopsychosocial assessments, and building community. Interns will also learn multi-sensory modalities using art and music.

Special Placement Information:

The Agency is accepting BSW Full-time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical Students, (Clinical) Part-time MSW, Part-time BSW.  Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year and MSW 2nd-Year/Advanced standing clinical students. Full and part time internships available.  Internship hours -8:00AM to 9:00PM Monday thru Thursday and 12:00pm-6:00pm on Saturdays.  Transportation is required.  Travel Reimbursement not available at this time. Stipend not available at this time.  Evening and weekend hours available as well as on-call hours. Student liability insurance and background check required.  Audio taping allowed for supervision purposes only.  Interns must be comfortable with Christian based perspective in groups and individual settings.
