The agency’s mission is to provide the highest quality mental health and addition services for the residents of Nassau County.  Services offered include the following: substance abuse treatment (adolescent and adult), children’s substance abuse prevention, children’s and adult outpatient metal health, adult day treatment, socialization programs, psychiatric evaluations and medication management, and prevention and community education.

Special Information: 

Interns are asked to provide their own transportation and are required as part of their regular duties to travel to the agency’s multiple sites.  Interns are reimbursed with a small stipend to help offset some evening work. Weekend work is not required or needed.  Students/interns can expect to receive maximum experience from working with various populations with complex issues and with well-trained, highly motivated staff to ensure students receive good supervision and assistance.
