The mission of REACHUP is to advocate and mobilize resources to help communities achieve equality in health care and positive health for families. REACHUP's programs focus on healthy mothers, healthy babies, involved fathers, and stable families. The role of social work will focus primarily within the Healthy Start program. The population serviced are women, infants, and men in select high-risk urban communities of Hillsborough, FL (33602, 33603, 33605, 33607, 33610, 33612, and 33617). The target area population of approximately 59,147 residents consisted of 55.6% blacks, 23.5% whites, 18.6% Hispanics, and 3.9% other racial/ethnic groups. The Agency is accepting MSW 2nd year and Advanced Standing Clinical Students. The student will be traveling around the county to conduct home visits. The agency provides reimbursement for travel. As the students work with REACHUP, all staff are covered under the organization's liability policy. The agency hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. Weekend and evening hours are available with
