Albany Area Primary Health Care, Inc. is a community health center serving the essential health related needs of the southwest Georgia community. Services include primary health care, specialty health care (OB/GYN, Podiatry, Optometry), dentistry, and behavioral health services. The health center serves a full range of client ages. The social services team members are a part of the patient-centered medical home model that AAPHC works under to ensure that all client's needs are met from socio-health perspective. This includes access to all social care services, community support programs, and assistance with any identified social determinant of health concerns.
Agency hours: 8:30a.m.-5:00p.m./ Limited weekend hours (agency events, etc.) Students will need their own form of transportation as public transportation is very limited. Travel is not reimbursed for students. Liability insurance is required for students. Video and audio taping is only permitted in special circumstances with administrative approval and proper consent retained. No stipend is available.
