Information

Camelot's Child Welfare Case Management programs provide dependency and permanency services to children in state custody, both in and out of home care and relative/non-relative placements. Certified Case Managers work alongside families to establish goals, creating plans to achieve the goals, providing services to meet needs identified in assessments, monitoring progress toward achievement of the goals, and closing cases when goals have been achieved.  In addition, they address the reasons that they entered the child welfare system with the ultimate goal of reunifying the child with the family. In some cases, the child may not be reunited with their family, and in these instances, Camelot works to find a permanent home for the child through other relatives or adoption. Each day, Camelot serves over 700 children in this program.  We focus on children from birth to 17 years of age.

Special Placement Information:

The Agency accepts BSW Full-time, MSW 1st year students, MSW 2nd year, and advanced Standing Clinical Students.  Part-time BSW and Part-time MSW.  We want the intern to have their own transportation, but they can ride with our case workers. We do have a bus stop close to the office, but other travel is needed for home visits, etc. We do allow the interns to apply for full-time positions, as long as it works with school schedules, etc. At that point, travel would also be reimbursed.
