Chandler Support Services, Inc. was founded in 2000 and has effectively served individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Prader-Willi syndrome, Spina Bifida, and Phelan-McDermid Syndrome in Northeast Florida. Our clients consist of individuals of all ages, and we serve our clientele until the end of life. We currently provide services in Duval, Clay, Nassau, Baker, St. Johns, and Flagler Counties. At Chandler Support Services, Inc., our goal is to allow individuals to move away from dependency on others and move towards self-determination and a desire to delegate and control their own lives. We pride ourselves on our person-centered approach, and believe in supporting our individuals in such a way that they can live everyday lives within our communities. Our goal is to ensure that individuals genuinely feel more supported, heard, and valued.
Special Placement Information:
The agency accepts MSW 1st year students and Part-time MSW students.  Transportation is needed to visit clients in their homes as well as out in the community. We do not reimburse travel, and students do not need liability insurance, as they will only be transporting themselves. We do not provide transportation to our served clients. Video or audio taping is not permitted, as it violates our HIPAA rules and regulations. Agency hours are 8:00 am-5:00 pm, and we are on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. We must be reachable to our clients; however, we are not an on-call center, nor can we tend to emergencies. The agency is accessible via public transportation if needed.
