ChildNet is a private, non-profit organization created specifically to manage child protection systems in Broward County, Florida, as part of the statewide program to transfer the responsibility for child protection, foster care, adoptions and related services to community based organizations. ChildNet serves abused and neglected children ages birth – 23 years old. We also serve their families and prospective adoption families as well. ChildNet's mission is to protect Broward Counties abused, neglected, and abandoned children to ensure their safety and to promptly provide them with a permanent, loving home.
Special placement information:
Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year, and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (SL + clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Transportation required. Travel reimbursement available.
Stipend potentially available.
Liability insurance required.
Agency hours: 8:30AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday. Some evening hours required.
