Early Head Start is a federally funded comprehensive child development and social services program.  
The program serves at-risk expectant families and families with children less than three years of age who are residents of Gadsden County.  
Two service options are offered: 
1) The home visiting option serves pregnant and parenting families in their home with play and support groups twice monthly
2) The center-based option provides full-time child care for children of working parents.  
In addition to high quality early childhood education services, Early Head Start provides health, nutrition, and Mental Health services, prenatal education and post partum support, parenting education, and parent-child activities.

Special placement information:
Accepting BSW, MSW 1st-year, and MSW 2nd-year/Advanced Standing (clinical) students. Full- and part-time positions available.
Transportation required. 
Agency hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM. 
Child development experience is beneficial.
